
Garuda Indonesia Cancels Some Japan Routes Due to Pilgrimage Flights
Oman Air will increase its Muscat-London/Heathrow flights from October 26.
Currently operating one round trip daily, an additional four weekly services on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays will bring the total to 11 weekly flights. By the summer of 2026, the frequency will increase to two round trips daily. The route will utilize Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with flight durations of 8 hours and 15 minutes from Muscat and 7 hours and 10 minutes from London/Heathrow.
For Oman Air, the UK represents one of the largest inbound tourism markets. The airline aims to strengthen its presence on major routes, contributing to the development of Oman’s tourism industry.
