JAL Ends Operation of Sakura Lounge at Kansai International Airport
Singapore Airlines will renovate two lounges at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2.
The lounges being renovated are the “SilverKris Lounge” and the “KrisFlyer Gold Lounge,” with phased construction. The construction starts from April 15 for the first-class area of the SilverKris Lounge, the business class area in the fourth quarter of 2025, and the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge in early 2026, with completion in mid-2027. The investment amount is 45 million Singapore dollars.
The space and seating will increase by 50%, and facilities will be updated. Similar distinctive elements to Terminal 3’s lounges will be incorporated, and the food and beverage menu will be enhanced.
In the first-class area of the SilverKris Lounge, a live cooking station will be set up, offering a wide range of Singaporean, Asian, and Western cuisine. The self-service buffet will also be expanded. The business class area will also be extended, with a redesigned living room area allowing for comfortable work, dining, and relaxation. The full-service bar will offer barista-made coffee and signature cocktails.
The KrisFlyer Gold Lounge will double its capacity, featuring various seating such as armchairs, workstations, and dining seats, as well as shower suites.
