Japan Airlines (JAL), JALCARD, and JCB will begin issuing the “JAL・JCB Card Platinum Pro” from April 16.
Two types will be available: a general card and the JAL Global Club (JGC) card. The annual fee for main cardholders is 77,000 yen, with family members (general) paying 4,400 yen and family members (JGC) paying 27,500 yen. Membership and renewal miles include 8,000 miles, with annual usage bonus miles of 10,000 miles for expenses between 3 million yen and less than 5 million yen, and 20,000 miles for expenses over 5 million yen.
In addition to automatic enrollment in the Shopping Mile Premium (with no annual fee), other benefits include Ad-on Miles, insurance, a Platinum Concierge Desk, and Priority Pass. The card features a “METAL SURFACE CARD” texture.
To commemorate its launch, a sign-up and switching campaign offering up to 100,000 miles will be conducted. The campaign period is from April 16 to June 20.
