
Hotel Villa Fontaine Haneda Airport: Selling Rooms Collaborating with ‘Ojamajo Doremi’
Park Hyatt Kyoto will offer an ‘Early Summer Afternoon Tea’ from May 1st to June 30th, featuring seasonal ingredients and Japanese herbs to represent the arrival of lush greenery and early summer.
The welcome tea is a chilled herbal tea made with mint and sweet hydrangea leaves. The assorted savory items include “Early Summer Vegetable Tart” made with broad bean mousse, micro herbs from Iri Farm, and pickled new onions, served with a Chardonnay vinaigrette, “White Asparagus with Tomato Jelly,” “Tuna Sandwich,” and “Cuttlefish Caviar Ricotta Cheese” displayed on a brass dish, paired with a blend tea featuring Yamato Angelica and Ibu Fuji thyme that has a celery-like fragrance. “Minakami Hamon Tomato and Mozzarella Cheese Fritters” are served with a cold blend tea of naginata (Japanese mint) and kuromoji (Japanese spicebush) cut with soda, offering a burst of shiso and mint aroma.
To cleanse the palate, “Miyazaki Mango Rose Geranium Granita” is provided. Assorted sweets include “Cherry Tart” accented with almond cream hidden in the tart base, “Apricot Mousse with Ginger and Apricot Jelly,” “Muskmelon Éclair,” “Raspberry Macaron,” and “Banana and Toffee Opera,” served with hot tea blended with mugwort and shell ginger on a mirrored tea stand. The course concludes with a pistachio soufflé baked with homemade blood orange marmalade, enjoyed with warm mulberry leaf tea. Additionally, desserts like “Muskmelon Parfait” (3,740 yen), “Cherry Pavlova” (2,860 yen), and “Hazelnut Dacquoise” (2,860 yen) featuring seasonal melon and cherries are also available.
The venue is “The Living Room” on the first floor. Service hours are from noon to 5:00 pm. The price is 6,600 yen, excluding service charges and including tax.
