Air France has started operating its new first class “La Première” from April 8.
It is available on one of the seven daily round trips between Paris/Charles de Gaulle and New York/John F. Kennedy, with AF4/1 flights operating on days other than Wednesdays, and AF6/5 flights on Wednesdays.
The seats, which transform into full-size beds, come with an accompanying bench. The seats can be adjusted for all stages, like take-off, landing, dining, and relaxation mode, with the bed reaching a length of 2 meters and a width of 75 cm. They feature embossed leather headrests with a seahorse emblem and ergonomically designed padding for optimal comfort. The suite offers approximately 4.5 square meters of space, 25% larger than its predecessor, accommodating five windows. It was manufactured by Stelia Aerospace.
Each suite is partitioned by thick curtains from floor to ceiling to ensure complete privacy. The center seats are equipped with electric sliding partitions. There are two 4K monitors, each measuring 32 inches, with Bluetooth connectivity available. It also supports AC power, USB-A, USB-C power, and wireless charging.
The cabin design features a harmonized gray color scheme, finished with leather trim and specially crafted fabrics. Overhead luggage compartments have been replaced with floor storage, providing sliding drawers that can store up to two carry-on suitcases. Additionally, there are compartments for shoe storage and a wardrobe.
Additionally, the aircraft offers 60 business class seats, 44 premium economy seats, and 204 economy seats.
In the coming weeks, this will expand to two daily round trips. The summer schedule plans to expand service to Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo/Haneda.
