
ZIPAIR Tokyo Launches Ticket Sales for Summer Schedule on Tokyo/Narita to Vancouver Route
Japan Airlines (JAL) will reduce the international flight fuel surcharge from tickets issued in June.
The fuel surcharge is determined based on the average market price of Singapore kerosene for two months, converted into yen using the average exchange rate over the same period. The average market price of Singapore kerosene from January to February was 88.25 US dollars per barrel, with the exchange rate at 150.49 yen per US dollar, resulting in a yen conversion amount of 13,281 yen.
For tickets issued between May 1 and June 30 for itineraries departing from Japan, the one-way prices are as follows: 3,000 yen for South Korea and Far East Russia routes, 7,400 yen for East Asia routes excluding Korea and Mongolia, 9,500 yen for Guam, Palau, the Philippines, Vietnam, Mongolia, and Russia (Irkutsk) routes, 15,500 yen for Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and Russia (Novosibirsk) routes, 18,500 yen for Hawaii, Indonesia, India, and Sri Lanka routes, and 29,000 yen for North America (excluding Hawaii), Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania routes.
