JAL Unveils ‘DREAM SHO JET’ A350 Featuring MLB Star Shohei Ohtani, Marking First MLB Themed Plane in 21 Years Since Matsui
Japan Airlines (JAL) has revised its deployment plan for the Airbus A350-1000 on the Tokyo/Haneda–Paris/Charles de Gaulle route, temporarily making it a daily operation.
It was initially planned to be deployed every other day starting May 1. From May 5 to June 30, it will be used daily due to aircraft rotations. From May 1 to 4 and August 1 to 30, it will be deployed on odd-numbered days, and on even-numbered days at other times.
The Airbus A350-1000 is JAL’s new international flagship aircraft, succeeding the Boeing 777-300ER, the mainstay for international routes. The cabin features a 4-class, 239-seat configuration with First Class arranged in ‘1-1-1’ seating for six seats, Business Class in ‘1-2-1’ for 54 seats, Premium Economy in ‘2-4-2’ for 24 seats, and Economy Class in ‘3-3-3’ for 155 seats. Both First Class and Business Class are offered as private suites with doors, a first for JAL. In-flight entertainment (IFE) features 4K resolution monitors in all classes, with Bluetooth connectivity for wireless headphones.
