American Express will revise the foreign currency transaction fees for shopping in foreign currencies starting from August 1.
The fee rate will increase from 2.0% to 3.5% (both including tax). Transactions processed on or after August 1 will be subject to the new rate. The affected cards are personal cards and business cards, with an announcement regarding corporate cards to be made later.
