
Air New Zealand Refurbishes Boeing 787-9 Cabin; First Aircraft to Operate in May
Japan Airlines (JAL) has decided to commence operations of the Airbus A350-1000 on the Tokyo/Haneda-Los Angeles route starting June 30.
The Airbus A350-1000 is JAL’s new international flagship aircraft, set to replace the Boeing 777-300ER, the current main aircraft for international flights. The aircraft features a 4-class configuration with 239 seats: First Class with 6 seats in a “1-1-1” arrangement, Business Class with 54 seats in a “1-2-1” arrangement, Premium Economy Class with 24 seats in a “2-4-2” arrangement, and Economy Class with 155 seats in a “3-3-3” arrangement. Both First and Business Classes feature private suites with doors, a first for JAL. In-flight entertainment (IFE) includes 4K resolution monitors in all classes, and supports wireless headphones via Bluetooth.
