Hong Kong Express Airways launched the Komatsu-Hong Kong route on April 24.
Operating three round trips weekly on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, the airline has entered the Hokuriku region for the first time. The travel time is 4 hours and 25 minutes from Komatsu and 4 hours from Hong Kong.
In conjunction with the inaugural flight, representatives from Hong Kong Express Airways, Hong Kong Airport Authority, and Japan National Tourism Organization distributed commemorative gifts to the first flight passengers.
In addition to this, Hong Kong Express Airways will resume operations of the Shimojishima-Hong Kong route starting June 27, expanding its Japan routes this year to a total of 12 routes, including three newly launched routes.
