Kagoshima City Transportation Bureau to Introduce Monthly Price Cap for Tap-to-Pay on All Trams and Buses
JR Tokai Bus, JR Shikoku Bus, Meitetsu Bus, and Iyo Railway Bus have begun joint operations on the high-speed bus service between Nagoya and Matsuyama from April 1.
The ‘Olive Matsuyama’ operated by the two JR Bus companies is integrated into the ‘Setouchi Express Nagoya’ operated by Meitetsu Bus and Iyo Railway Bus. It stops at Matsuyama City Station, while abolishing the route between Yawatahama and Matsuyama and some other bus stops.
The new timetable has the downward route departing Nagoya Station (Shinkansen Exit) at 11:10 PM and arriving at Matsuyama Station at 9:03 AM the next morning, while the upward route departs Matsuyama Station at 7:25 PM and arrives at Nagoya Station (Shinkansen Exit) at 5:30 AM the next morning. It stops at Matsushige, Tokushima Station, Takamatsu Chuo Interchange Bus Terminal, Takamatsu Station High-speed Bus Terminal, Mishima Kawanoe Interchange, Matsuyama Interchange, Okaido, and Matsuyama City Station. The operating company varies by day.
Ticket sales for travel from the same date are no longer available on ‘Highway Bus Net’ and are now sold through ‘Hassha Orai Net’ and at ticket counters.
