
Hyatt Regency Tokyo Opens ‘Nineteen Eighty Lounge & Bar’ on April 24
Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel is collaborating with Fukujuen to offer the “Uji Tea Afternoon Tea” from May 1 to June 30.
The menu features flavors and aromas of matcha, gyokuro, sencha, hojicha, genmaicha, and tencha, learned by chefs at Fukujuen Kyoto Main Store’s “Kyo no Chazo.” A “Cold Brew Lemon Sencha” is provided as a welcome drink, and “Gyokuro Granita with Loquat Compote” as a welcome sweet.
The savory items include “Matcha and Bacon Gougères,” “Seared Sea Bream with Sencha Risotto,” “Hojicha Jelly with Citrus-Flavored Duck,” “Artichoke Fritters with Matcha Salt,” and “Asparagus Gyokuro-Flavored Hollandaise Sauce.” Desserts include “Hojicha and Orange Scented Crème Brûlée Tart,” “Gyokuro Panna Cotta Anmitsu Style,” “Matcha Opera,” “Genmaicha Ganache Wrapped in Mochi,” and “Matcha Éclair with Praline Cream.” Drinks include “Japanese Black Tea,” “Karigane Genmaicha,” and three different teas that change periodically.
The location is on the 19th floor at “LOUNGE PLUS.” Available from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM for a 120-minute session. The price is 7,000 yen, including tax and service charge.
