Emirates and Philippine Airlines are considering strengthening their partnership.
This announcement was made at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
They are exploring the possibility of mutually conducting codeshare flights between the Philippines and Dubai, and on beyond routes. The intention is to strengthen cooperation on cargo routes and also collaborate in areas such as ground operations, catering, and maintenance. They also plan to organize joint familiarization trips for media and industry stakeholders.
Both airlines signed an interline agreement in March 2023, enabling seamless connections from Cebu and Clark to 10 cities in the Philippines and from Dubai to 8 cities.
