Saudia Group has placed an order for 10 Airbus A330-900 aircraft.
The order is intended for its subsidiary low-cost carrier (LCC), flyadeal, marking the first time flyadeal will introduce wide-body aircraft into their fleet, expanding into long-haul routes.
The Airbus A330-900 is equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines and has a maximum range of 13,330 kilometers. It features the latest cabin design “Airspace,” offering more personal space, larger overhead luggage compartments, and a new lighting system.
In May 2024, Saudia Group had ordered a total of 105 Airbus aircraft, including 54 Airbus A321neo for flyadeal. Currently, flyadeal operates a fleet of 37 Airbus A320 family aircraft.
