Finnair will cancel some flights on May 2 due to a strike by the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU).
The strike will take place at Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport for four hours. Although not bound to specific times, essential operations such as aircraft maintenance, ground handling, and catering will be temporarily halted. Passengers are advised to carry essential items in their carry-on luggage.
Finnair will cancel approximately 140 flights, affecting 12,000 reserved passengers. Alternative flights will be provided to booked passengers, who will be notified via email or the app. A strike is also expected to be held on May 5.
