
Hilton to Expand ‘NoMad’ in Asia Pacific, Opening in Singapore by 2027
Kyoto Tokyu Hotel will offer “Afternoon Tea Using Gion Tsujiri Matcha” from May 7 to June 30.
A lineup of 13 items, including sweets and savory dishes using Uji matcha from Kyoto’s “Gion Tsujiri,” is prepared. The sweets include “Matcha Chiffon Cake,” which enhances the flavor of matcha, “Matcha Opera” that can be enjoyed with ganache and yuzu mousse, “Matcha Terrine,” “Hojicha Scones,” “Earl Grey Mousse,” “Sencha Macaron,” and fruit jelly “Plum Pâte de Fruit,” all served in a wooden box. Side dishes include “Shrimp and Avocado Open Sandwich” accented with the scent of lemon and herbs, “Brioche Macaron” filled with hojicha butter cream, “Tea Soba with the Scent of Sansho” kneaded with matcha, and “Japanese Black Tea Pudding.” Drinks include matcha and unlimited refills of coffee and tea.
The location is the All Day Dining Fuka. The serving time is from noon to 3:30 PM. Reservation is required by 5 PM two days in advance. The fee is 5,500 yen, including tax and service charge.
