Shinjuku Prince Hotel and Kawagoe Prince Hotel will offer the ‘Driver Experience! Seibu Line Train Simulator Stay Plan’ from July 1 to September 30.
In collaboration with Seibu Railway, the plan introduces a driving simulator for the first time that closely replicates real train operations based on actual running footage and vehicle sounds. The available train models are the 001 Series Laview and 40000 Series. There are three types: Express, Rapid, and Local. The express route operates between Ikebukuro and Seibu Chichibu, while the rapid and local routes run between Ikebukuro and Hannō.
The room decor concept at Shinjuku Prince Hotel is themed on the “Express Laview,” featuring tapestries of yellow seats characteristic of the train’s interior, along with images and illustrations on the walls. At Kawagoe Prince Hotel, to commemorate the 130th anniversary of Kawagoe Railway, the predecessor of the Shinjuku line and Kokubunji line, photo panels depicting Seibu Line’s history, route maps, and destination signs previously used on various Seibu Railway lines will be displayed.
The price per person is 14,180 yen when two people share a room. Plans with breakfast are also available. As a special gift, a room key resembling an express ticket will be provided.
