Kansai International Airport Opens Two Shared Lounges for International Flights on March 27
Virgin Atlantic has opened a lounge called “Clubhouse” at Los Angeles International Airport on March 28.
It features a spacious bar and social area with table service dining options, a dedicated cinema “Ruby Room” with Bluetooth headsets, work pods, private spaces such as the VIP booth “Royal Box”, and showers. All areas, including the bar and private seats, are equipped with wireless charging and AC power outlets.
In the immersive space “Zen Den”, guests can enjoy relaxation, movement, and mindfulness sessions using a smart fitness mirror “FORME Studio”. It begins with a personal welcome video from founder Richard Branson and offers a curated experience.
To commemorate the opening, a storytelling session “ReLAX and Unwind with Alan Cumming” is also offered.
Table service is provided at each seat, with special dishes and healthy options such as tuna poke bowl, California roll, tofu pho, and California-style fig salad. Vegan and vegetarian options are available. A self-service corner for light snacks is also available.
Additionally, low-alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks designed to promote sleep and wellness, including the “TRIP Mindful Blend”, are recommended, as well as a cocktail “Twisted Angel” created by Virgin Atlantic’s exclusive mixologist, featuring Aperol and gin.
This marks the sixth lounge location for Virgin Atlantic. The airline operates three overnight flights daily to London from Los Angeles, featuring lighting that adjusts to the body clock.
Eligible users include Virgin Atlantic’s upper-class passengers, Flying Club Gold members, Delta Air Lines’ Delta One passengers, and SkyTeam Elite Plus members. Los Angeles firefighters can also use it until June 30. Although Priority Pass is accepted, an additional fee of 35 USD applies.
The location is in the restricted area on the 6th floor of the Tom Bradley International Terminal. It is open from 11:30 AM, four hours before departure.
