STARLUX Airlines will start operating the Miyako Shimojishima to Taipei/Taoyuan route on August 22.
The service will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It will use the Airbus A321neo which features 188 seats, including 8 in business class and 180 in economy class. The travel time is 1 hour 10 minutes from Miyako Shimojishima and 2 hours 20 minutes from Taipei/Taoyuan.
This route will be exclusively operated by STARLUX Airlines. With this addition, the international routes serving Miyako Shimojishima will expand to three, including Jin Air’s Incheon (Seoul) route and Hong Kong Express Airways’ Hong Kong route.
