Japan Airlines (JAL) has scheduled extra flights for the Tokyo/Haneda to Nanki-Shirahama route in May.
The flights will operate on May 24 and 26, with a total of four flights comprising one round trip each day. The aircraft used will be an international configuration Boeing 737-800. This route normally operates three round trips per day.
It has been decided that four giant pandas housed at Adventure World in Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture, will be returned to China in June.
In addition, a demonstration operation of the airport connection bus linking to Adventure World as well as Shirahama Town and Tanabe City has resumed from April 25.
