Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers renovated its all-day buffet “Compass” and reopened on March 20.
The design concept is based on the Western-style mansions of ‘Yokohama Yamate,’ with interiors revamped using Yokohama Navy Blue as an accent. New zones such as bench seats, table seats, and spaces accommodating from 30 to 60 people were added, and the live kitchen was revamped.
As the first event after reopening, the “Hokkaido Fair – A Gathering of Popular Dishes” is held from March 20 to July 21. The menu includes “Stone-Grilled Steak of Hakodate Onuma Beef,” “Butter-Grilled Hokkaido Scallops,” “Hokkaido Farm Pudding,” “Sapporo Specialty Ramen Salad,” “Hokkaido Black Wagyu ‘e-beef’ Tataki,” “Chilled Sea Urchin Flan,” “Asahikawa Ueda Livestock Homemade Jingisukan,” “Bouillabaisse with Salted Cod from Hokkaido,” “Creamy Salmon Spaghetti,” “Hokkaido Specialty Ika-meshi,” “Herring Stick Sushi,” “Apple Pie Made with Apples from Nanae Town,” and “Shimaenaga Cheesecake.”
Drinks include selections from the Hokkaido Fair, such as “Drift Ice DRAFT / Memuro Gold Craft,” “Grand Polaire Hokkaido Yoichi Kerner,” “Okhotsk Drift Ice Salt Lemon Sour,” and “Yubari Melon Soda.” For the opening campaign, from March 20 to 31, the weekday lunch features unlimited snow crab and a rice bowl with unlimited salmon roe topping, while the weekend lunch and weekday dinner offer a salmon roe topping bowl and a glass of sparkling wine.
Service hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for lunch, and from 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on weekends for dinner. Prices are from 6,000 JPY for adults, 3,000 JPY for children, and 4,800 JPY for seniors for lunch, and 9,000 JPY for adults, 4,500 JPY for children, and 7,200 JPY for seniors for dinner, including tax and service charges.
