Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Issues Strict Warning to Spring Japan for Alleged Captain’s Drinking Violation Concealment
Finnair will cancel some flights on May 16 due to a strike by the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU).
The strike will take place at Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport for a duration of four hours. Although it is not bound to specific times, essential operations such as aircraft maintenance, ground handling, and catering will be temporarily halted. Passengers are advised to carry essential items as carry-on baggage.
As a result, approximately 60 flights will be canceled, affecting 6,000 booked passengers. Alternative flights will be provided to booked passengers, who will be notified via email and the app.
Strikes also occurred on May 2 and 6, affecting routes to Japan.
