Changi International Airport T5: Contract Signing for Foundation and Infrastructure Works
Royal Air Maroc will commence operations at the new Terminal 1 of John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
The airline is relocating from the existing Terminal 1. Currently, Royal Air Maroc operates up to two round-trips per day from Casablanca.
The new Terminal 1 is being constructed on the site of the airport’s current Terminal 1, the closed Terminal 2, and the former Terminal 3 on the south side of the airport. The construction is being carried out in phases, with the first phase, which includes the initial 14 gates, set to open in 2026. The entire project is slated for completion in 2030 and will eventually become the airport’s largest terminal, covering 2.6 million square feet and featuring 23 gates.
Several other airlines, including EVA Air, Air Serbia, Air China, Philippine Airlines, Air France, Etihad Airways, LOT Polish Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Korean Air, Scandinavian Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and Air New Zealand, have already announced their intention to operate from the new terminal.
