Kansai International Airport Opens Two Shared Lounges for International Flights on March 27
Finnair will cancel some flights on May 19 due to a strike by the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU).
The strike will occur at Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport and will last for 4 hours. Although not restricted to specific times, essential operations such as aircraft maintenance, ground services, and catering will temporarily halt. Passengers are advised to pack essentials in their carry-on luggage.
As a result, approximately 110 flights will be canceled, affecting 14,000 booked passengers. Alternative flights will be arranged for those affected and notifications will be sent via email and app.
The strike has already taken place three times in May, causing around 300 cancellations in total. It also impacts Japanese routes.
