ANA Holdings Delays Full Acquisition of Nippon Cargo Airlines to July 1
Keisei Electric Railway has announced the introduction of a new limited express train between Oshiage and Narita Airport stations, aiming to start operation in the fiscal year 2028.
The new express train will operate between Oshiage and Narita Airport stations to “enhance transportation capacity and improve services between the airport and downtown Tokyo in response to Narita Airport’s function enhancement.” The area around Oshiage Station features Keisei Group’s bus routes and hotels, and is expected to see increased area value and synergy effects with various businesses.
Meanwhile, the existing limited express “Skyliner,” which has been operating between Keisei Ueno and Narita Airport since 2010, is being considered for longer trains as part of capacity enhancement in response to increased airport transportation demand.
At Narita Airport, function enhancements are underway, including new runway construction and existing runway extension, aiming for operational use by the end of fiscal 2028.
