APA Group has announced changes to its hotel development plan near Sapporo Station and revealed a new hotel construction plan.
“APA Hotel & Resort〈Sapporo Station Front〉” was initially projected to have 318 rooms but has been expanded to 500 rooms with the acquisition of adjacent land and will be transformed into a hotel featuring a pool and large public bath. It will be accessible approximately 4 minutes on foot from the JR Sapporo Station North Exit. The opening is aimed for around spring 2027.
Additionally, the “APA Hotel〈Sapporo Station West〉” will be newly developed. The building will be 11 stories high with 168 rooms. It will be accessible approximately 5 minutes on foot from the JR Sapporo Station North Exit. The opening is aimed for around spring 2027.
APA Group focuses on areas like Sapporo, Sendai, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka, aiming to expand to 3,000 rooms in Sapporo. This will bring the total to 10 hotels with 2,995 rooms in Sapporo.
