Emirates SkyCargo has launched a cargo-only flight on the Tokyo/Narita to Dubai/Al Maktoum route on May 23.
The first aircraft was welcomed with a water salute upon arrival at Tokyo/Narita. This marks the first regular cargo route connecting Tokyo/Narita and the Middle East.
In addition, there are two weekly round-trip cargo-only flights between Osaka/Kansai and Dubai/Al Maktoum, increasing cargo capacity by 100 tons per trip. The flights are intended for the transport of automotive parts, machinery components, semiconductor parts, pharmaceuticals, and more, using Boeing 777F aircraft.
