
Finnair Faces Possible Disruptions Due to Strike on May 30, June 2 and 4
The Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) is gradually completing the expansion work of the second terminal at Hong Kong International Airport, with the Phase 1 operation set to commence on September 23.
The indoor coach hall, which includes parking areas for 41 vehicles such as tour buses, cross-border buses, and limousine buses, will be put into operation.
From the same day, the bus boarding and alighting areas at Terminal 1 and Parking Lot 4 will be relocated. The tour bus boarding and alighting space at Parking Lot 1 will be opened for parking, which is expected to ease traffic congestion.
In the future, check-in counters and other departure facilities are expected to be operational by early in the second quarter of 2026. Other facilities will also be gradually put into use.
