JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo will host “Fresh Green Delights” from May 9 to June 30.
The event, themed “Fresh Green,” will feature seasonal desserts and Japanese-Western dishes available at three restaurants and the lobby within the hotel, allowing guests to enjoy the beginning of the green season with all five senses.
On the 1st floor at The Lobby Lounge, guests can enjoy afternoon tea (3,500 yen) presented on a three-tier tea tray featuring “Matcha Blancmange,” “Green Apple Mousse,” “Avocado and Salmon Bruschetta,” and “Lamb Croquettes.” They also offer a sweets selection (1,500 yen) inspired by lush greenery using matcha, melon, kiwi, lime, etc., and a “Citrus Mojito” (1,200 yen) with mint and lime combined with lemon jelly. The afternoon tea and sweets selection are available from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (last order).
At the Sky Restaurant “Tancho,” a seasonal lunch Kaiseki meal, “Lunch Kaiseki ~Fresh Green~,” is available featuring ingredients such as green asparagus, green peas, and sand borer. Menu examples include “Mountain Udo in Vinegar Miso Dressing,” “Vegetable Pot-au-feu,” “Green Pea Rice,” and “Edamame Tofu.” Service hours are from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM (last order at 2:30 PM). The price is 4,800 yen.
The Restaurant & Bar “SKY J” offers a buffet lunch featuring Western dishes and desserts incorporating the blessings and colors of early summer. Service hours are from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM (last admission at 2:30 PM, dishes available until 3:00 PM). The price is 3,200 yen.
