Japan Airlines (JAL) and Mi Cafeto will release the ‘JAL Original Iced Coffee’ on June 2.
With a light and roasted aroma and a refreshing taste, it is said to have very mild acidity and bitterness, with a sweet aftertaste reminiscent of chocolate cookies.
The ‘JAL Original Iced Coffee,’ which is served in-flight as a summer limited edition, will be available for purchase at Mi Cafeto’s official online store and Mi Cafeto Atre Kichijoji store, among others. It will also be available at JAL Shopping JAL Mall from June 5. The content is 1,000 milliliters, priced at 700 yen (tax included).
In-flight, it will be served on all classes of domestic flights from May to September and in international first and business classes from June to August.
The two companies partnered in 2011, and Mi Cafeto’s President and CEO Yoshitaka Kawashima serves as JAL’s coffee director.
