Sapporo Excel Hotel Tokyu will offer the “Japanese Afternoon Tea with Furano Lavender Scent” on weekends and holidays from June 1 to August 31.
Inspired by midsummer Furano, they have prepared sweets infused with the scent extracted from lavender flowers, and savory items. “Lavender Anmitsu”, featuring kanten jelly made from 100% Izu-produced agar and served on the spot with a special tool, sweets from the local confectionery shop “Morimoto” such as “Furano Yukidoke Cheesecake” and “Hesono Omandju”, and savory dishes like “Karamatsu Nikujaga” made with vegetable paste and slow-cooked pork, and the elegantly adorned “Sesame Soy Milk Cream Chilled Somen” will be available. During this period, “Furano Wine” will be sold at a special limited price, and a plan with three glasses of wine is also available.
The location is the second-floor Japanese restaurant “Karamatsu”. Service hours are from noon to 3 PM, limited to 120 minutes. The price is 5,500 yen normally, and 7,000 yen with the option of three glasses of wine, including tax and service charge. Reservations are accepted for two people or more, up to three days in advance.
