Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka will offer “Flower Afternoon Tea” from May 1 to June 30.
In celebration of its 40th anniversary on October 3, the hotel will feature an afternoon tea with sweets inspired by flowers, such as hydrangeas and sunflowers. Guests can enjoy “Lavender Glass,” featuring fruits marinated in lavender honey with lavender-flavored cream, the “Rose Cake” with a gentle aroma of rose and strawberry, “Fruit Flower Basket,” “Hydrangea Jelly,” “Sunflower Lemon Tart,” as well as savories adorned with flower petals on salads and cocottes.
The venue is the Restaurant & Lounge Bar eu. It is available from 2 PM to 6 PM. The price is 6,000 yen on weekdays and 6,500 yen on weekends and holidays.
There is also a plan where the dessert in the course can be changed to a two-tier flower afternoon tea sweet for an additional fee. It is available from 5 PM to 9 PM with a last order at 8 PM. The price is 8,500 yen for Weekday Dinner with Afternoon Tea Sweets (weekdays only), the course “Nature” (main meat dish) with Afternoon Tea Sweets is 10,300 yen, and an additional fee of 4,500 yen for Champagne Free Flow. All prices include tax and service charge. Reservations are required by 5 PM the previous day.
Additionally, at the Café & Gourmet Shop Cafe Bell, two items from the afternoon tea, “Fruit Flower Basket” and “Myrtille ~Violet~” (800 yen each), will be arranged for sale.
