
Toyoko Inn to Sell ‘Local GENKI Badges’ from April 1
Kawasaki Nikko Hotel will offer various menu items featuring “early variety peaches” from Fukuoka from May 17 to June 30.
The afternoon tea, served at the 10th floor cafe restaurant “Natura” and the 7th floor bar lounge “Yakan Hikou,” is available for 7,000 yen per person with a reservation required four days in advance. It includes 12 sweets and savory items such as “Peach Shortcake” accented with the tartness of raspberries, “Peach Baked Cheesecake” baked with the skin, “Peach and White Wine Jelly,” “Tea Mousse with Peaches,” “Peach and Prosciutto,” and “Peach Fruit Burger.”
Drinks include various Ronnefeldt teas, iced tea, and coffee. A parfait, limited to 5 servings per day (3,500 yen per person, reservation required two days in advance), is topped with a whole compote peach and constructed with 15 layers including vanilla cream, Hokkaido fresh cream, and cookies. It’s available from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. All prices include tax and service charge.
At the 1st-floor pastry shop, three types of takeaway items are available: “Peach Jelly” (800 yen), “Peach Roll Cake” wrapped with peach pulp and Hokkaido Nengan fresh cream in a roll cake base (3,400 yen), and “Whole Fukuoka Peach” (1,300 yen). Sales are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The shop is closed on Tuesdays. All prices include tax.
