Miyako City Osaka Tennoji will offer its first afternoon tea, ‘Summer Afternoon Tea ~Ensemble of Chocolate and Spice~’, at the top floor restaurant from July 1 to August 31.
With the theme of ‘Chocolate and Spice’, the tea will feature chocolate sweets spiced with aromatic seasonings such as cinnamon and ginger, perfect for enjoying in the hot summer. The top tier will feature sweets inspired by ‘ginger chocolate mousse modeled as a penguin’ and ‘summer beach’; the middle tier will offer ‘seal macarons’ and ‘white peach milk pudding with a floating ring’; and the bottom tier will include ‘tartlet chocolat coco inspired by sunflowers’ and ‘chantilly chocolat using Miyazaki mangoes’.
Savories include ‘croissant sandwich with roast beef and massaman spice’, ‘peach and mascarpone with a hint of coriander’, and ‘shrimp croustian with a white chocolate sauce’. Drinks, including coffee and tea, are available on a free-flow basis.
The location is Sky Restaurant Etoile. Hours are from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with last entry at 4 PM. The price is 5,500 yen, including tax and service charge.
