
Quintessa Hotel Hiroshima Kanayama-cho Rebrands and Opens in August
Hotel Nikko Osaka will offer “Premium Shaved Ice” from July 1 to August 31.
This summer staple, which is loaded with fruits and appears every year, features finely stacked fruits, sauce, and toppings on gently melting pure ice made from deep Shinshu natural water, with four types available.
The menu includes “Whole Melon” (8,000 yen), using one whole Crown Melon topped with milk sauce, sponge cake, vanilla ice cream, melon flesh, and decorated with a tiara of white chocolate and sugar with silver leaf for a princess-like finish. Another option is “Matcha ~Japanese Garden~” (3,800 yen), expressing a Japanese garden with a variety of toppings like matcha milk mousse, grilled apricots, strawberries, oiri, and adzuki beans on rich Uji matcha flavored ice. “Pistachio & Berry” (same price) is available until July 31, using freeze-dried strawberries, raspberries, caramelized pistachios, etc., while “Fruit Milk Tea” (same price) is available from August 1, offering milk tea sauce-covered ice topped with fruits like white peach compote, mango, grapefruit, and orange, well-matched with tea.
The venues are “Fountain” on the 1st floor tea lounge and “Lobby Lounge” on the 2nd floor. Service starts at 11 a.m. All prices include tax and service charge.
