APA Hotel Tsubamesanjo Ekimae will cease operations on August 1.
The hotel, formerly known as Hotel Minato, was acquired and opened in June 2009, featuring 80 guest rooms.
On the same day, the nearby APA Hotel Niigata Tsubamesanjo Ekimae’s expansion is set to be completed, increasing by 176 rooms for a total of 300 rooms at its reopening. The expansion aims to capture business demand centered around metal products. The gold spoon, exclusively for “APA President Curry” sold by APA Hotels, is manufactured in Tsubamesanjo.
