The Japan Tourism Agency announced on June 13 that it will hold a hearing in order to impose administrative sanctions on Fujikyu Travel, based on Article 65, Paragraph 1 of the Travel Business Act.
In a trip using chartered buses conducted from April 7 to April 8, 2024, the company arranged buses with fares below the minimum price reported by the chartered bus operator, promoting services in violation of Article 9-2, Paragraph 1 of the Road Transportation Act, thus violating Article 13, Paragraph 3, Item 2 of the Travel Business Act. Fujiyoshida Sales Office is scheduled for a 9-day business suspension.
The hearing will be held on June 20 at 4:30 PM in Conference Room B on the 15th floor of Central Government Building No. 2, Japan Tourism Agency.
