LOT Polish Airlines has ordered 40 Airbus A220 aircraft, announced at the Paris Air Show.
The order includes 20 Airbus A220-100 and 20 Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The airline plans to expand its fleet to 84 aircraft in the future, with the first delivery expected in 2027. This marks the first order of Airbus aircraft, aimed at replacing regional route aircraft.
The Airbus A220 has received firm orders for over 900 aircraft from more than 30 customers worldwide, with more than 415 delivered. It is operated by 24 airlines globally and serves over 1,600 routes across more than 470 cities.
