Finnair Cancels About 110 Flights Due to Strike on June 17
Air India has canceled some flights on the Tokyo/Haneda-Delhi route due to the impact of a crash near Ahmedabad Airport.
Based on directives from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India, the airline is conducting inspections on its Boeing 787-8 aircraft. Consequently, there will be cancellations on routes using this aircraft type for the time being due to aircraft rotation issues.
Flights departing Tokyo/Haneda will be canceled on June 16, 19, 23, and 30, with Delhi departures being the corresponding previous days. Other Asian routes will also be affected. Customers with reservations will be offered alternative flights or cancellations.
The route was inaugurated with four weekly round trips on March 31 and had been increased to daily round trips from June 15.
