Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Club has added Cathay Pacific Airways to the list of airlines for its “Diners Global Mileage” service available to Diners Club members.
The exchange rate is 2,500 points = 1,000 miles. There is no annual limit on the number of miles that can be transferred, and the transfer fee is free. Transfers are usually completed within about a week.
The annual participation fee for “Diners Global Mileage” is 6,600 yen (including tax), but it is free for premium card members. This enables mile exchanges with a total of six airlines, including All Nippon Airways (ANA), Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, Korean Air, and Japan Airlines (JAL).
