Finnair will cancel some flights on June 19 due to a strike by the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU).
The strike will be held at Helsinki Vantaa International Airport for four hours. Although not restricted to specific times, essential operations such as aircraft maintenance, ground handling, and catering will be temporarily halted. As a result, 128 flights will be canceled, affecting 8,225 booked passengers. Alternative flights will be offered to customers, who will be notified via email and app. Passengers are advised to carry essential items in their cabin baggage.
The strike occurred five times in May and three times in June, resulting in over 800 flight cancellations, impacting routes to Japan.
