Quintessa Hotel Hiroshima Kanayama-cho Rebrands and Opens in August
Hyatt Regency Tokyo has completed the largest renovation of its rooms since the hotel opened.
The renovation began in late May 2024, and large-scale renovations of 601 rooms out of the 22 types of rooms were completed. The renovation of the remaining 111 rooms has now been completed, marking the completion of the renovation of the entire hotel.
The concept was to “create timelessly designed rooms while expressing the unique character of the Shinjuku area,” and each room incorporates wall coverings handmade using Shinjuku’s dyeing techniques. The design was handled by the interior design company NAO Taniyama & Associates, which specializes in global luxury hotels.
Additionally, two new room types, “Studio Park View King 1 Bed” and “Studio Corner Park View King 1 Bed,” have been added. These rooms feature open closets, separate shower booths, and spacious bathtubs. The bathroom floors use high-quality quartz, and luxurious black marble is used for the countertops, giving the rooms a modern and stylish ambiance.
