THE OSAKA STATION HOTEL, Autograph Collection will offer “Afternoon Tea ‘VOYAGE’ La saison des mangues” featuring mangoes from Miyazaki Prefecture from June 1 to 30.
The welcome drink is an original mango mocktail called “Sunshine Sparkle”, which harmonizes the sweetness of ripe mangoes with the tartness of yogurt, topped with fresh mango. Desserts combining Miyazaki mangoes with ingredients such as coconut and passion fruit include “Mango Gelée”, “Mango and Coconut Layer Cake” accented with passion fruit cream, and “Mango Pudding” garnished with coconut-flavored jelly foam. Savories offered are “Smoked Salmon with Mango and Calamansi Vinaigrette”, using mango and the citrus fruit calamansi akin to kumquat and mandarin, and “Mango and Fromage Blanc with Cheese”. The parfait “Parfait ‘Voyage'”, using about half a mango per dish, features mango and coconut ice cream on top with coconut-flavored jelly and milky cream at the bottom. “Potato Potage” and a mini-burger with 100% wagyu beef are also available.
The location is on the 29th floor at “THE LOBBY LOUNGE”. Serving hours are in two sittings from noon to 2:30 pm and from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The cost is 10,000 yen. Reservations are required by noon three days in advance.
