Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is embarking on major renovation works at its hotels in Hong Kong and Bangkok.
Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong will completely renew all public spaces including the lobby, and will introduce an “All-day Lounge,” “Whiskey Bar,” “Wellness Club,” “French Restaurant,” and a pizza counter specializing in wine pairings. The interiors of guest rooms and suites will also be revamped, and the layout of the guest room floors will be revised to newly introduce 11 residential design apartments. The renovation work will commence in the second quarter and will be carried out in four phases, with completion expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. Most of the facilities on the premises will continue to operate during the construction period.
Mandarin Oriental Bangkok will refresh the interiors of the rooms in the Authors’ Wing and Garden Wing. With the renovation of the River Wing, the extensively revamped international cuisine restaurant “Lord Jim’s” will offer a new menu centered on wood-fired cooking and seasonal ingredients. The Chinese restaurant “China House” is renewing its entire space and will provide a menu focusing on Chaozhou cuisine. The fitness center has also been completely revamped. The renovations have already begun, with completion scheduled for the end of the year.
