The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has raised the danger levels for Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Oman.
Due to the attacks being exchanged between Iran and Israel, there have been many casualties, as well as closures of airspace and airports in countries such as Jordan and Lebanon. On June 22, the U.S. military attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities, indicating that the rapid deterioration of the situation in the Middle East cannot be ruled out.
In response to this situation, Level 1 (caution) has been issued for the entirety of Qatar, the UAE, and Oman.
In addition, a wide-area alert urging caution has been issued for Afghanistan, Yemen, Israel, Palestine, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Eritrea, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Djibouti, Syria, Sudan, Turkey, Bahrain, Jordan, and Lebanon.
The Japanese embassies in the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain are requesting residents to ensure the confirmation and correction of registration details on the Residence Registration or Tabireg, considering future safety confirmations.
