Japan Airlines (JAL) will terminate the mileage accumulation service for the furusato nozei service, “JAL Furusato Nozei” on September 30.
It currently offers up to 2 miles per 100 yen at the time of payment. Mileage accumulation through JAL Card payment, Life Status points based on donation amount, and payment using points exchanged from miles will continue.
This is due to changes in the system by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and these services may also be abolished with system changes.
