The Ritz-Carlton Okinawa offers ‘Tropical Afternoon Tea & Cakes’ at their lobby lounge and bar.
Utilizing tropical fruits cultivated under the Okinawan sun, such as mangoes, passion fruits, and watermelons from Nakijin Village, they offer ‘Tropical Afternoon Tea’ and ‘Tropical Cakes’.
The sweets for ‘Tropical Afternoon Tea’ include sophisticated flavors like deep cocoa and passion fruit tart, combining rich dark chocolate with the tangy taste of passion fruit; choux cream with a refreshing shikuwasa aroma; jelly with watermelon from Nakijin Village and refreshing mint; and macarons infused with the scent of chamomile paired with mango. Savory items include a sandwich with Okinawan cucumber and chickpea cream, and mini burgers inspired by the Italian local dish vitello tonnato. Both coffee and tea are available to choose from.
The offering period is from June 16 to September 30, from 1 PM to 6 PM. The cost is 7,500 yen, with a glass of champagne included for 10,000 yen, inclusive of tax and service charges.
The ‘Tropical Cakes’ come in four varieties featuring mango, passion fruit, pineapple, and guava as the main attractions, allowing you to enjoy the exquisite balance of tropical fruit acidity and sweetness.
The offering period is from June 16 to October 31, from 11 AM to 11 PM (last order). Each cake is priced at 2,000 yen, inclusive of tax and service charges.
