Airlines Implement Special Measures Due to Typhoon No. 7 Approaching Okinawa Flights
All Nippon Airways (ANA) will reduce the fuel surcharge on international flights for tickets issued from August.
The fuel surcharge is determined based on the two-month average market price of Singapore kerosene, converted to yen using the two-month average exchange rate.
For one-way tickets originating from Japan, excluding Hawaii, the surcharge for North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania is 23,100 yen; for Hawaii, India, and Indonesia, it is 14,900 yen; for Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Cambodia, it is 11,000 yen; for Vietnam, Guam, and the Philippines, it is 7,200 yen; for East Asia excluding South Korea, it is 6,100 yen; and for South Korea and Russia (Vladivostok), it is 2,200 yen.
If purchased in the UK, the payment is in pounds; in Europe excluding the UK, it’s in euros; and in other countries, it’s in US dollars. Separate conditions apply for itineraries departing from specific countries.
