The Capitol Hotel Tokyu will be offering a summer-only “Kakigori 2025” at Lounge “ORIGAMI” and Chinese restaurant “Hoshigaoka”.
At Lounge “ORIGAMI”, in addition to classic favorites like “Uji Kintoki” (2,530 yen) and “Ogura Shiratama” (2,530 yen), they offer luxurious treats such as “The Melon Frappe” (5,692 yen) which uses half a muskmelon extravagantly, and the mango extravaganza “Mango Kakigori 2 Kinds of Vanilla” (4,427 yen) topped with mango pulp, puree, and dried fruit. The serving period is from July 1 to August 31. Service hours are from 11 AM to 10 PM, with last orders at 9 PM.
At Chinese restaurant “Hoshigaoka”, this year’s new creation “Persimmon Kakigori” will be offered (single item 2,024 yen, set with sesame dumplings and Chinese tea 3,162 yen). Shimane Prefecture’s “Saijo Persimmon” is harvested at its most delicious timing and used whole after freezing. The serving period is weekdays only from July 1 to August 29. Service hours are from 11:30 AM to 2 PM (last order) and from 5:30 PM to 9 PM (last order).
