“MITSUI OCEAN FUJI” Arrives at Harumi Passenger Ship Terminal: First Cruise Ship Post-Renovation
Mitsui O.S.K. Cruise Line’s cruise ship “MITSUI OCEAN FUJI” is set to dock at Harumi Passenger Ship Terminal as the first cruise ship since its renovation.
The docking is scheduled for August 7, arriving from Aomori at 8 AM and departing for Kobe at 4 PM on the same day. A welcoming water salute by the Tokyo Fire Department’s Rin-ko Fire Station is planned for the arrival. The arrival and departure can be viewed from Harumi Wharf Park. It marks the first cruise ship arrival in five years.
“MITSUI OCEAN FUJI”, which began operation in December 2024, is a luxury ship that was acquired and refurbished from the former “SEABOURN ODYSSEY” operated by Seabourn Cruise Line, with a passenger capacity of 458.
Harumi Passenger Ship Terminal can accommodate small to medium-sized passenger ships. It has been a port of call for “Nippon Maru”, and previously for “Fujimaru”, highlighting its deep connection with Mitsui O.S.K. Cruise Line. Besides this terminal, Tokyo International Cruise Terminal also serves as a departure and arrival terminal for cruise ships at Tokyo Port.
